Date: June 3, 2026

Water Temp: 48–54°F (Surface)

Target Species: Coho Salmon, Chinook (King) Salmon, Lake Trout, SteelheadSummer has officially arrived on the water, and charter fishing in Wisconsin is hitting its stride. With surface temperatures warming up into the mid-50s, the vast schools of spring Coho are starting to slide into deeper water, creating an awesome opportunity for mixed-bag trips. We are currently targeting a wider depth range, dropping lines for aggressive salmon on top while using our deep gear to hunt for early-summer trophies.

Milwaukee Report: Deep Water Salmon Stack

Our recent trips for charter fishing in Milwaukee have seen the action shift a bit further off the shoreline. We’ve been finding a highly productive bite anywhere from 90 to 130 feet of water, targeting the schools moving north and south of the harbor gaps. Between 40 and 60 feet down, we’ve been producing steady action on active Coho Salmon and the occasional hard-fighting Chinook.

Racine Report: Offshore Coolers Filling Fast

Down in Racine, the story is all about consistency. Anglers heading out for a charter fishing Racine adventure are experiencing fantastic numbers. While the shallow, near-shore Coho bite is tapering off as the water warms, we are intercepting huge schools just a couple of miles out over the deeper drops. Lake Trout are holding steady right near the bottom to provide plenty of rod-bending action, while the Coho and rogue Steelhead are smashing our shorter leads closer to the surface.
