Racine Report: Coho Fever
Down in Racine, the Coho Salmon have arrived in force. We’ve been finding the most success in the 30 to 50-foot depths. The “Coho Train” is moving steady, and these fish are hungry. Small orange dodgers with peanut flies have been the top producer this week. Milwaukee Report: Mixed Bag & Trophy Browns
Up the coast, charter fishing Milwaukee is offering a fantastic mixed bag. We are seeing a healthy blend of Coho Salmon, hard-fighting Lake Trout, and the occasional “screamer” Chinook (King) Salmon. The Brown Trout are still patrolling the harbor gaps and shoreline structures, providing some great light-tackle action early in the morning.
Lake Michigan Conditions
The lake has been settling into a nice spring pattern. We are focusing on temperature breaks and baitfish schools.
